"We are what we do, not what we say we will do."  We believe a Rebel's actions speak louder than words. If you love clean water, clean food, clean beauty and healthy humans then act now and Rebel with us...

Educate Yourself!

There is a lot of power in your purchases! Read labels and understand what goes in the food you buy and products you wear. What's in them? How are they made? Where are they made? Who is making them? What kind of impact are they making? Don't be afraid to ask questions! Teach your kids to read labels, ask questions and make conscious purchasing choices. Understanding what goes in your body and on your body is essential to living a healthy life and sustaining a healthy planet. Put your money where your mouth is by getting to know who you are investing in and how your purchases are supporting YOU.

Look For the Helpers

As Mr Roger's mom would say, "Always look for the helpers".  And there are a lot of helpers! Support your local Farmer's Markets, farm to table restaurants, invest in clean products, and visit brick and mortar stores in your community. They offer products, and knowledge about their products, that are fresher, cleaner and more delicious.

Do Something.

A lot of "little things" add up making an impact. We always have choices and our choices have consequences:

  • Bring reusable bags and containers when shopping, traveling, or packing lunches and leftovers.
  • Pass on single use disposable cups and water bottles and bring your own to-go coffee cup and reusable water bottle.
  • Choose products that are returnable, reusable, or refillable over single-use items.
  • Avoid individually wrapped items, snack packs, and single-serve containers. Rather, buy large containers of items or from bulk bins. Packaging makes up 30% of the weight and 50% of trash by volume. Buy juice, snacks, and other lunch items in bulk and use  reusable containers each day.
  • Compost food scraps and yard waste.
  • Reduce your intake of canned foods (even those labelled organic).  Most cans are still lined with BPA.  (Single use water bottles are also contain BPA)
  • Use natural household cleaners: vinegar and baking soda go a long way.
  • Keep your beauty routine clean! If you are eating clean but putting toxins on your skin then you are doing it wrong.
  • Reduce your intake of  β€œdead” foods: processed, toxic, pesticide-laden, genetically modified, denatured foods.
  • Talk to your friends and family and share what you know and learn.  Share the reasons you are making the choices you are and better understand the reasons they are making their choices as well.

Take action here, here and here to tell the government what you really think.
